Students will use markers, colored pencils, and crayons to make new doodle designs each week. A few bright and colorful Google slides with designs will be shown for inspiration at the beginning of class. Judy will use two cameras so young learners will be able to see her face and hands as she creates right along with them. Students will gather to create, relax, and chat about the topic of the day. Students will have creative art experiences with markers and crayons. ***When appropriate, the teacher will help the children sound out and write words on their art.
The teacher has a master's degree in Integrating Arts into the Curriculum. She was a kindergarten through 4th-grade teacher for over twenty years, and a small business owner of a tutoring business that focused on literacy through the arts. She has been teaching poetry, art, animal, and early literacy classes on Outschool since March 2020.
