Digalo Bien - 집중된 발음을 통한 구어 스페인어 입문

Over a period of 10 weeks, we will be focusing on a different vowel sound (A, E, I, O, U) every 2 weeks in order to learn and master the sounds. Unlike English, Spanish does not have many vowel sounds, so taking the time to practice these sounds from the beginning helps to set students up for more success in learning Spanish. 

Students will be introduced to 5-6 new Spanish words each week through a video presentation and will have the opportunity to practice current and previous words through flashcards, worksheets and printable games.

Students will be focusing on pronunciation while learning new words and building simple sentences that will teach them how to begin to communicate in Spanish.

Students are not expected to know any Spanish, but students that know Spanish and would like to improve their pronunciation are welcome to join.

Weeks 1 & 2 - Palabras con A Vocales (Words with A Vowels)
Students will learn words that only include the "a" vowel sound in order to become accustomed to pronouncing the words correctly. We will also review previous vocabulary, using it to practice with new vocabulary words.
Week 3 & 4 - Palabras con E Vocales (Words with E Vowels)
Students will learn words that include an "e" vowel sound and may or may not also include the "a" vowel sound. We will also review previous vocabulary, using it to practice with new vocabulary words.
Week 5 & 6 - Palabras con I Vocales (Words with I Vowels)
Students will learn words that include an "i" vowel sound and may or may not also include the "e" and/or "a" vowel sounds. We will also review previous vocabulary, using it to practice with new vocabulary words.
Week 7 & 8 - Palabras con O Vocales (Words with O Vowels)
Students will learn words that include an "o" vowel sound and may or may not also include the "i,", "e" and/or "a" vowel sounds. We will also review previous vocabulary, using it to practice with new vocabulary words.
Week 9 & 10 - Palabras con U Vocales (Words with U Vowels)
Students will learn words that include an "u" vowel sound and may or may not also include the "o", "i", "e" and/or "a" vowel sounds. We will also review previous vocabulary, using it to practice with new vocabulary words.
