This is an ongoing, once weekly writing club for learners who need a creative outlet for their fantasy and sci-fi stories. In class, I will give a different writing prompt each week and learners will have 20 minutes of class time (perhaps more, if the students really need it!) to write a short story inspired by that prompt. The fun challenge will be to use the prompt in an innovative way in the stories they come up with. For example, one week's prompt may simply be "apples", and so, in their...
