명확하게 소통하기 (또는 선생님을 바보처럼 행동하게 만들기)

Students will learn about the importance of precise language and communication through simple exercise.

In teams of 2 or 3, students will work to write out an exact set of instructions for their instructor to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Once completed together, the instructor will then follow the instructions as they are written...and only as they are written.

Through this experiment, students will learn about clarity, precision, and logic in both their communication with others and their own thought processes.

Because these instructions will be written, students must be able to write full sentences on their own. Because these instructions will be given to me verbally from those written instructions, students must be able to read and speak in front of the class comfortably.

Finally, because this is a communication class and non-verbal cues are such a big part of communication, cameras need to be on at all times.
