In Boy: Tales of Childhood, Roald Dahl tells the story of his own early days, from his birth in Wales to his years at boarding school in England. For those of you familiar with my other Roald Dahl book clubs, this is more advanced with heavy literary components. Learners should be comfortable with reading and writing at a 3rd grade level. I have been teaching for over 15 years. My bachelors degree is in English Literature and I have a teaching certificate from Cambridge (CELTA).

I will send the worksheets before each lesson. Please print these prior to class. Learners will want some scissors for lesson 1 as well. All lessons require a pen or pencil and paper.
For lesson 1 there are some cards that need to be cut out. Parent super vison may be required for use of scissors, or cards can be cut out prior to class.
