In this class, the teacher will lead a book study, focused on reading comprehension, vocabulary development and writing. Reading will primarily be done outside of class.
- Students will become familiar with slang, idioms, phrasal verbs and vocabulary. Students will deepen their reading comprehension skills by answering text-based question.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English, a Masters degree in Elementary Education and certification in English as a Second Language for grade 6 to college level. I currently am an adjunct professor at a college teaching English as a Second Langauge.
Assessment

Students should have a basic understanding of English.
Students will receive vocabulary and comprehension questions at the beginning of each class.
