This is an English Reading Book Club for students who are developing their love of reading, writing, thinking and sharing their ideas. This class is aimed at beginner readers to broaden their vocabulary, improve recognition of words, develop phonics and handwriting too.

Learners will develop their reading fluency, comprehension skills including knowledge of phonics, vocabulary, guessing meaning of words from context, sharing ideas and developing communication skills.

Week of 12/8/24 - Dog Man Unleashed
Week of 19/8/24 - A Tale of Two Kitties
Week of 26/8/24 - Dog Man and Cat Kid
Week of 2/9/24 - Lord of the Fleas
Week of 9/9/24 - Brawl of the Wild
Week of 16/9/24 - For Whom the Ball Rolls

Dog Man books can be read in any order so learners can join at any point. When we get to the end of the cycle, we will return to the beginning. 

Each week will include vocabulary, comprehension and input. Learners will be encouraged to share their ideas in a variety of ways in class. There will be interactive activities connected with each book each week.
