In this beginner public speaking course, students will learn the basics of public speaking, along with some tips and tricks to feel better while speaking in front of people. As a student, I was terrified of public speaking. I understand how difficult it can be, which is why I care deeply about providing young students a safe, understanding, and positive space to start. Students should bring something to the first four classes that they are comfortable reading aloud. Students will chose the material they bring to class.
Your child will speak in front of others. If they are not able to do this, I suggest a one-on-one meeting with the teacher before joining the class to determine if this will be a good fit.
