Students will learn how to set and achieve business goals. Students will learn about : 
• Business finances, profit maximization, pricing, and income / expense tracking.
• Print and digital advertising, branding, and communication strategies.
• Business plan development and application.
• Problem solving, risk analysis and mitigation.

Students will gain valuable practice:
• Communicating and presenting their ideas.
• Working together in a collaborative environment.

Teacher Mel is passionate about all thing entrepreneurship. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a law school graduate with a keen interest in corporate law. Prior to teaching she worked as an accountant and was able to help and guide many small business owners through the process of first time entrepreneurship. She began her teaching journey at the university level helping students completing their BBA degrees. She is now a full time online educator.

Students will be encouraged to work on their business ideas outside of the classroom. This will be self directed but encouraged throughout our classes together.
