Battlebots is a high energy robot combat television series. In this show, competitors design and operate remote-controlled armed and armored machines designed to fight in an arena combat elimination tournament. If your student loves robots and enjoys watching Battlebots, they will love this social club! Students will aim to have fun and engage with other fans of Battlebots! Students will learn how to listen and participate effectively in a group discussion while debating or discussing different topics.
Though I teach many dance classes, I have been a fan of Battlebots for many years now! My boys have been interested in robotics and I have found myself enjoying and following each season of Battlebots very closely! My oldest son and I enjoy printing out the weekly battle card and making predictions about which bot will win. I look forward to sharing my love of this show with students.
