Each snowflake is unique. Join me as we learn about snowflakes and discuss what they look like under a microscope. We will study different images of real snowflakes and compare them to paper snowflakes. Learners will learn how to fold paper and cut it into a snowflake shape. We will practice a few ways of creating a paper snowflake. Learners will practice use of symmetry as they perfect each cut into their snowflakes. Students will improve their understanding of symmetry as well as practice using scissors to sculpt paper.
White paper: at least 5 sheets Pencil Scissors: learners will need to have a pointy pair of scissors to be able to cut through layers of paper.
Students may need assistance with scissors.
