Have you ever wanted to make a sweater, but you're unsure of how and where to start? Let me help. In this class, we will spend 11 weeks learning how to create a simple Hexagon Granny Square sweater. I will teach different types of stitches needed for the project: -Slip Knot -Magic Circle -Double Crochet (specific to the use of the granny stitch) -Mattress Stitch -Ribbing I will also go over and discuss how to read a crochet diagram. Week 1Lesson 1Breakdown of courseMaterials needed, steps, and stitches used in making the sweater Stitches: Slip Knot, Slip Stitch, Chain Stitch/Magic Circle, and Double Crochet. How to read a diagram.Week 2Lesson 2Begin 1st sideWe will begin making the 1st of the 2 sides of the sweater. Discuss how to read a diagram.Week 3Lesson 31st sideWe will continue to add rows to our sweater.Week 4Lesson 41st sideWe will continue and finish adding rows to our sweater.Week 5Lesson 5Begin 2nd sideWe will begin the second side of our sweater and go over how to start the hexagon.Week 6Lesson 62nd sideWe will continue to add rows to our sweaters.Week 7Lesson 72nd sideWe will continue and finish adding rows to our sweaters.Week 8Lesson 8Sewing it all togetherI will teach how to make the mattress stitch when we sew it all together.
