Invite your friends for a private Among Us gaming session or party! All of my gaming classes are on a private server for only those enrolled in the class, but this session is extra private because it will include only those who you invite! Let's sharpen our deductive reasoning and social skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while we play this fun mystery game together! IMPORTANT PRIVATE SESSION DETAILS: * 7 learner minimum, 14 learner maximum * According to Outschool policy, all participants must be children and be registered in the session through Outschool. * Payment/Booking Instructions: The host pays by buying gift enrollments and distributing them to guests who then claim the gift enrollment and register with Outschool. I will send you the link for the private session when we have figured out a date/time. GENERAL GAME AND CLASS DETAILS FOR AMONG US: *NOTE: DOWNLOAD OF AMONG US GAME REQUIRED BEFORE CLASS. THE UPDATED VERSION IS v2021.12.15 or later.* Let's play the very popular game Among Us together! Among us is a very interactive and fun game that involves a group of crewmates on a spaceship. But there is an imposter! Or two! Or three! Join me as we work together to complete tasks and to try to find the imposter or imposters among us! We will mute our microphones while we are working on the ship so we do not reveal our role. When a meeting is called, students will discuss their thoughts on who the imposter is and why. The game also has a chat feature; students will be safe because I will be hosting a private game session. We will play as many rounds as time allows! Students can have input into game settings. We may even play Hide and Seek if the group would like to. Players will have to use their deductive reasoning and communication skills to work as a team. Good sportsmanship is always fostered. Students should have 2 devices for the session. For example, they can take the class on Zoom on a PC, and they can play on a tablet, phone or gaming system. The exact configuration is your choice. *** Learners should be ok with possibly being wrongly accused of being the imposter, being revealed as the imposter, and becoming a ghost in the game. These are all components of the game and all in fun. Everyone in the game still has tasks or imposter duties to do even if they become a ghost or are revealed as an imposter. Hello, and welcome! I am super excited to offer classes and clubs for a variety of topics!
I love being a teacher! I am patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about making learning fun for every student. All of my classes are inclusive for all children, and are ESL, neurodivergent and autism friendly. I have experience teaching children in all of these groups and of varying ages, learning styles, academic abilities, and English proficiency levels. I look forward to meeting your child in the classroom for an exciting learning adventure!
I have an M.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, NJ. I also hold a B.A. in both Psychology and Sociology, with a Criminology Certificate, all from Rutgers University. In addition, I earned a TESOL Certificate.
My teaching specialties include preschool skills, elementary education, ESL- English as a Second Language, life skills, and coping skills. Some of my other interests are video games, board games, travel, Disney, crafts, cooking, and baking.
My employment has always included teaching or counseling. I have taught in a daycare center, a children's developmental center, schools, and a psychiatric day program. I also have 5 years of experience teaching children English online. Educating all of these students has been very rewarding, and I am thrilled to be offering classes on Outschool.
**** To ensure learner privacy, safety, and comfort, which are of the utmost importance, class recordings of social clubs/classes will not be shared.
****TRANSFER POLICY: I am flexible regarding transfers to another section of the same class (if available), but all transfers must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class in order to allow another student the opportunity to enroll in your child's spot. Transfers cannot be granted for missed classes, or for requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled class. Transfers are only available for the same exact class, within the same Outschool week, which ends on Sunday.
