InnerSloth has finally delivered on the new Hide and Seek mode in Among Us. Let's Play! Each week we will meet to play in a private server. In this class we will only be playing Hide and Seek mode. We will rotate maps so we get to know all of them. Get set for some thrills as Crewmates have to hide, while the Impostor seeks! Keep an eye on your monster meter to see if the Impostor is coming near. Run, vent, complete tasks. Do whatever you can to survive! All skill levels are invited to join the game in this positive, welcoming group. For the best experience, it is recommended that learners have one device for Zoom and another for the game. However it is possible to play using tabs if a 2nd device is not available. Please be sure to have the Among Us app downloaded on your device before coming to class. The app is free on mobile devices. Please note that if enrollment or attendance is low, we may need to bring in additional players to start the round. The game will remain on Quick Chat only.

Among Us is a game that can be played on mobile as well as PC. The content is mildly violent and very fun and exciting as the Impostor chases the Crewmates. This class will only play in Hide and Seek mode so the game play is fairly easy. Please make sure to create an account using your child's correct age as there are safety precautions and limits set for accounts registered to children under the age of 13. We will only play in servers that utilize quick chat only so players will only be able to choose from game-play menus when chatting.
Please be advised that while in-game, other learners may be able to send and receive friend requests with other children in the class/server. However, Privacy settings can be adjusted by the parent in order to allow or block friend requests. Please be sure to discuss in-game privacy, online safety and chat/game courtesy with your child before class begins.

Hello and thank you for your interest in my courses. I am Ms. Hodgman, Ms. H otherwise known in-game as MamaLlama. I've been an elementary school educator in NJ for more than 26 years. I hold undergraduate as well as graduate degrees in education and I'm certified in Staff supervision, Reading Recovery and Gifted and Talented. I've taught multiple ages as well as Reading Recovery and Intervention for both reading and math. Since I began teaching Roblox and Among Us classes on Outschool, I have become part of this whole new virtual world, where people can play, interact and socialize. It's a new reality. Through gaming, children can make friends from all over the world, give a virtual gift to a new buddy or help someone through a challenge. I look forward to meeting your children, exploring Roblox and Among Us and helping them practice social skills. Discussion, humor and an element of surprise work wonders in keeping children engaged in meaningful learning.
