In this one-time class, learners will see fascinating images as they enjoy a slide-show presentation about tornados in a lecture/discussion based class. No prior knowledge is needed. State certified teacher with experience teaching this in public schools and online for many years. I have taught this in the classroom as a science teacher and have done extra research to learn how these funnel clouds form. I also teach about tornado safety in the public and online classroom.
Since tornados can be dangerous I do discuss the causes and need to be careful around areas in which they occur. Learners will be allowed to ask questions and I will handle them in a positive way. This is not a scary class, but an informative one.
