I am a certified teacher with a background in nursing.  I am also a state certified physical education teacher where I am required to teach about puberty and the changes a body goes through.  I have an extensive background in the sciences, and will be teaching learners about puberty and not about sexual acts.  This class will discuss the changes the female body goes through.  As the class content is taught, focus will be made on making the learner comfortable discussing questions.  The learner will learn what to expect and have the opportunity to ask questions.  They will learn the various parts and workings of the female reproductive tract.  From periods, to pubic hair growth and hormones, your child will gain an understanding of what to expect.  In this class they will be able to ask questions and voice and concerns they may have about their bodies. No prior knowledge needed.
