This class is suitable for students who wish to learn more advanced reading and writing strategies. Students will read short passages (fiction or nonfiction), complete writing activities, participate in discussions, play comprehension games (i.e. Blooket), and make literacy-based crafts. This class moves students past recall and teaches students to analyze, think critically, and support ideas with evidence. Students will also be provided with optional resources to practice.
