레벨 Beginner - Intermediate
Eight-week (Drum Set Level 1) lessons are perfect for students beginning their drumming journey. In this course, students will learn how to read basic rhythmic notation, drum rudiments, and musical timing, laying the foundation for their musical path. Additionally, students can practice easy-to-learn drum fill exercises that will improve their motor skills and coordination. With the guidance of our experienced instructor, beginners will gain the necessary skills and confidence to take their drumming to the next level. Lesson Topic: Eight lessons on eighth-note drum beats, seven easy drum fill lessons, and basic drum rudiments. This class is asynchronous; you can move through the lessons quickly. Lessons will have 1-3 instruction videos and printable lesson materials to practice with. The method used in these lessons will meet different learning styles as I use three teaching methods to reach each learner. Students and parents are encouraged and welcome to contact me for review, help, or concerns during this 8-week course. Rob has performed on drums across the United States, Canada, and Europe with artists including Henri Mancini, Carmen and Camille, Harry Kim, Bob Mintzer, George Garzone, Dave Ross, and the U.S. Army Jazz Guardians. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston. His varied and rich performance experiences gave Rob the master tools for teaching the next generations of drum and percussion students. Rob has been teaching for 30 years, including over 3,000 hours of online drum lessons. He has developed his time-tested method of virtual learning. His teaching studio has education software, three drum sets, six camera angles, and studio-quality sound. Rob teaches the foundations needed to be a successful drummer. Each lesson is carefully crafted to meet the individual student’s learning style. Rob teaches with patience and aims to instill a spirit of fun in each session.
