Learners will work comfortably at their own pace and level to improve in phonics, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.  This could be through identification of letter sounds, sight words, CVC words, or more advanced concepts in grammar, sentence structure, and essay writing. 

I have been a teacher since 1994. I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades in public schools and am currently a reading and writing interventionist in a middle school. I have privately tutored all ages and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a minor in English. I'm TESOL, TEFOL, and ESL certified. In addition, I'm passionate about helping students reach their full potential while enjoying learning.

 In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses Google Slides and Canva presentations developed by the teacher.

Some of the programs listed require parental consent. These programs will be used to engage and informally assess students.

**Be sure and download/print the helpful resources I've included in the classroom. Your child can keep, and use, these for help with reading/writing skills.
