Is your child ready to master more complex sounds? In this part 3 camp, we will focus on advanced sounds that will help them decode and spell more challenging words with confidence.
In this camp, we will build on the foundations from Part I and Part II by learning the sounds of schwa, diphthongs, advanced vowel teams (VT), and advanced bossy R sounds and spellings (BR). With interactive lessons and hands-on practice, your child will gain confidence with these tricky concepts!

Day 1: Sounds of schwa
Day 2: Diphthongs: oi/oy, ou/ow, au/aw
Day 3: Advanced VT: igh, oo/ew
Day 4: Advanced BR sounds
Day 5: Advanced BR sounds, Part 2

This camp is designed for students who have mastered basic syllable division and the 3 great spelling rules. They are now ready to tackle more advanced phonics sounds and improve their reading and spelling skills.

All learners benefit from hands-on reading instruction, but it is especially helpful in teaching concepts to those with dyslexia. We will physically take the words apart on paper to visually see the individual syllables.

Boot Camp Part I and Part II -- This course assumes a student can accurately identify all 6 syllable type, divide words using all 4 syllable division patterns, recognize and apply the three great spelling rules and 1-1-1 word rules.
수업 자료
For the first class, your student will need pencil, a highlighter or marker, and some index cards (any size or color) OR slips of paper about the size of index cards. For the rest of the classes, students should bring paper and pencil to each class, or a dry erase board with a marker.
