This class allows me time to get to know students on a personal level, find out what they want to learn, where their strengths and weaknesses are, and encourage personal growth! This class is tailored specifically for each student and their own individual needs. The first class is always an assessment period where I get to know them and where they are from an educational standpoint. From there we work through lessons on a daily basis three times a week. Students will improve their knowledge of all things language arts related including reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing skills and styles, grammar, spelling, etc.
I have homeschooled my kids for the last 8 years. I am just about finished with my bachelor's in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University and then will have a dual degree in child and adolescent development psychology. Plus, I just really love teaching!

I will be using worksheets for spelling and reading comprehension from Canva, Education.com, IXL curriculum books, and spelling levels 1-9 depending on the age of the child. No accounts are required, I will provide all materials needed on-screen during class.
I pull from different resources to make each child's curriculum. Sources include IXL spelling levels 1-6, Canva printables, education.com printables, and handmade worksheets.
