This algebra course is designed for students who have taken pre-algebra and/or have a good foundation in math. To cover all the material in one semester requires a fast pace. Homework will be posted following each class. Most will consist of a few problems of each type covered, including equations and word problems. Completing the homework is optional, but encouraged as it gives students a chance to work through problems on their own.
