In this course, students will be given guided practice problems with rates and ratios skills and concepts typically taught in sixth grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to these mathematical operations. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes involving rates and ratios to work on together. Concepts and skills can include any of the following. •Writing Ratios •Equivalent Ratios •Ratio Tables •Unit Rates •Rates and Ratios Word Problems •Identify Proportional Ratios •Rates and Ratios on Graphs Please schedule sessions carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
