I taught for 9 years as a fourth grade teacher in a Jewish Day School, where the Holocaust was a major topic was taught. I also formally taught in Hebrew Schools, where the Holocaust was taught.

We will be using the movie "Paperclips" and excerpts from the book, "Night", by Elie Wiesel. We will also use other eye-witness accounts throughout the class. All of these will be provided by the teacher.
The Holocaust is an extremely sensitive piece of history. I have taught the Holocaust to fourth graders before and I take great care to present the content in an age appropriate manner. I do welcome any and all parent participation.
