I will be teaching about clean air and polluted air in the house and outside the house. Class Contents: What is air quality? What is an indoor and outdoor air pollutant? Major indoor air pollutants. Major outdoor air pollutants. Sources of air pollution. How outdoor air pollution affects indoor air quality. Health impacts in relation to air quality. How to improve indoor air quality. There will be PowerPoint presentations and lectures. It will be an interactive class. Students will be encouraged to ask questions. A science background is an advantage to understanding the nature of chemicals in the environment. However, I will try my best to simplify the topic. Therefore all knowledge background is welcome

Students will learn the importance of ventilation, the safe use of chemicals in the house, causes of allergy- reactions in the house, what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. They will learn how to be health-conscious in their homes and outside.

Illustrations that will be used for the teachings are diagrammatic representations of indoor and outdoor activities like cooking, air filters, pollution from cars, and chimneys. I also received training in my B.sc level as an animal and environmental biologist. Environmental Quality management involves the study of land, air, and water pollution. Apart from classroom training, I also carried out a field study that includes air quality under my undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
