Is your child struggling to speak Korean, even though you’re a Korean speaker? Or do you want them to learn a new language?

Group classes are a great benefit for children to learn from one another, act as each other's role model and develop social skills. 

In this weekly course, students will learn basic vocabulary and sentences based on weekly themes. Classes will include visuals, games, drawings, and even show and tell. Every student will have a chance to practice and work on their pronunciation. Students will have time to interact socially. 
After this class, students will gain an interest in Korean!

Worksheets will be provided every class for students to use in class and after class. (If printing is not possible please bring a blank sheet of paper)

No prior knowledge of Korean is needed. 
Class will be in both English and Korean.

TEACHER ALEX 👧
ABOUT: 
Teacher Alex is a dedicated language tutor with experience teaching children aged 3–18. She is passionate about building connections with students and creating a supportive learning environment.

CREDENTIALS: 
⭐ Third-year MD/PhD student at the University of Toronto
⭐ Master of Science- Physiology and Pharmacology
⭐ Bachelor’s degree in Science Honours – Physiology and Pharmacology
⭐ 7+ years of teaching experience in Korean

TEACHING STYLE: 
👩‍🏫 She focuses on practical communication, helping learners build confidence in speaking and understanding Korean naturally
👩‍🏫 She customizes each lesson to individual goals, ensuring an interactive and personalized learning experience

ENROLLMENT DETAILS: 

When learners can't attend class, there are a few options:
🔔 Most students will keep their subscription and can watch the recording for that week and complete the worksheet when they have time.
🔔 If the teacher offers other sections, you can switch to another section. However, your spot will not be saved in your original section.
🔔 You can pause the class. However, Outschool cannot save your spot. (Outschool charges every Sunday for the coming week's classes.)

No refunds or credits are available, except in emergencies. Please contact Outschool support for assistance.

Occasionally, the scheduled teacher for this class may be unavailable, and a trained substitute from our organization will step in. Only teachers who are fully trained to teach this class will serve as substitutes.

If a substitute will be teaching, a message will be posted in the Outschool classroom before the class takes place. If your learner prefers not to attend with a substitute, I’m happy to offer a refund. Simply send me a message, and I will process it for you.
