毎週中国語を楽しもう！（初心者コース）（3～8歳）講師：コリー

Do you want your little ones to speak more Mandarin? Or learn a new language? 
Learning more than one language can improve memory, improve performance in other academic areas, and even enhance the ability to multi-task! 

Group classes are a great benefit for children to learn from one another, act as each other's role model and develop social skills. 

In this weekly course, students will learn basic vocabulary based on weekly themes. Classes will include visuals, songs, games, drawings, and even show and tell. Every student will have a chance to practice and work on their pronunciation. Students will have time to interact socially. 
After this class, students will gain an interest in Mandarin!

Apr 7- Easter
Apr 14- Toys
Apr 21- Weather
Apr 28- Family

* Themes will be updated monthly 

If there are other times you prefer, please message me. 
Students can join starting from any week. 
New group sessions will need a minimum of two learners to start the class.

1 on 1, sibling classes are also available. 

Worksheets will be provided every class for students to use in class and after class. (If printing is not possible please bring a blank sheet of paper)

No prior knowledge of Mandarin is needed. 
Class will be in both English and Mandarin.

TEACHER KORY 👩
ABOUT: 
Teacher Kory is passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. Over the past five years, she has tutored students of various ages, nurturing curiosity and resilience in their learning journeys.

CREDENTIALS: 
⭐ Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication
⭐ 5+ years of teaching experience in both Cantonese and Mandarin

TEACHING STYLE: 
👩‍🏫 She focuses on fostering curiosity through interactive games and storytelling
👩‍🏫 She encourages questions and embraces mistakes as part of learning

FUN FACTS: 
🍣 She loves eating sushi, but can’t eat sashimi
🏸She's left-handed, but plays badminton with her right hand

ENROLLMENT DETAILS: 

When learners can't attend class, there are a few options:
🔔 Most students will keep their subscription and can watch the recording for that week and complete the worksheet when they have time.
🔔 If the teacher offers other sections, you can switch to another section. However, your spot will not be saved in your original section.
🔔 You can pause the class. However, your spot will not be saved. (Outschool charges every Sunday for the coming week's classes.)

No refunds or credits are available, except in emergencies. Please contact Outschool support for assistance.

Occasionally, the scheduled teacher for this class may be unavailable, and a trained substitute from our organization will step in. Only teachers who are fully trained to teach this class will serve as substitutes.

If a substitute will be teaching, a message will be posted in the Outschool classroom before the class takes place. If your learner prefers not to attend with a substitute, I’m happy to offer a refund. Simply send me a message, and I will process it for you.
