Agent K (aka Miss Krystina) will lead learners through a series of "super-sequences" (aka superhero movement and fitness choreography) to give learners the chance to practice their co-ordination and gross motor skills such as jumping, punching, kicking, and balancing on one leg. Learners will be able to improve on their memory and listening skills through repetition and fun superhero-themed games, and develop their spatial and body awareness. Agent K will engage with each learner throughout class, encouraging self confidence and providing individualized feedback during one-on-one interaction. Learners will be given the opportunity to practice social skills and waiting their turn during the sharing portion of class.

TOP SECRET: Agent K is the superhero alias of Krystina Chabursky, a dance instructor turned circus coach turned superhero trainer. She has been working with youth aged toddler to teen for over 15 years and is passionate about encouraging kids to move, be active, and explore their creativity through the arts. Krystina has experience performing for children's entertainment and her credits include appearances as Wonder Woman and the Miraculous Ladybug.

Even superheroes need to hydrate so don't forget to bring water to our training session. Dressing up and having super-accessories on hand is encouraged, though not required. Keep in mind how hot it might get inside your super-suit and plan for a quick change if needed. Some activities and games will incorporate props that learners have nearby them, such as a pillow/stuffy or cape/blanket during training and different colored objects for playing "I Spy".

Learners will need an open workout space to be able to participate in this class as our training session will include large physical movements such as jumping and running. Stretching before class is not required as we will stretch together. Stretching after class is optional as an additional cool down, and is very beneficial to the body. Learners should have plenty of water nearby to drink as needed and it is strongly recommended they drink lots of water throughout the day, before and after class. It is important to be well hydrated when participating in a dance and cardio-based workout. Learners should also have a parent or guardian nearby supervising, to ensure they are safely following along the class and do not injure themselves. Please make sure learners have enough space, a level floor, and non-slippery footwear for this training session. Bare feet welcome.
