Identifying Our Top Strengths Through Activities & Hobbies
When considering our future careers, it's important to first start with the activities we love doing and the things we are really great at! In this section, we will identify three activities we could do all day long and three top strengths that make us feel confident. 7 分のビデオレッスン

Uncovering Skills Within Our Passions
Now we will use each activity and strength to uncover at least three skills that are hidden within. These skills will be transferable to the workforce and help us hone in on jobs that align with our greatest strengths. 6 分のビデオレッスン

Using our list of skills, now we will identify repetitive patterns or themes that will be considered our top three strengths. This could be a skill that is a shared commonality in our hobbies or one that is stronger than all the others. レッスン 4:

Our top three skills will be used to research career choices that utilize one, two or all three of our top strengths with a Venn diagram. Hello!
It takes ONE conversation, ONE lightbulb moment, ONE Outschool class to change the trajectory of a child's decisioning and confidence. I aim to be a part of their support network, helping them identify their individualized strengths and talents to guide them in making excellent career (and life!) decisions as they prepare to enter adulthood.
As an HR leader for over 12 years, I have seen the magic that happens when someone lives out their purpose and taps into their unique talents. This sense of self starts young and develops throughout the critical years in school. As a teacher, I aim to fill the individualized coaching gap every child deserves as they navigate an overwhelming number of decisions toward graduation.
All of my classes are preparing our future generations to be successful professionals as adults in a relatable and engaging way. My goal is to make work FUN and passion-driven.
Personally, I am a parent of an eight year old and am a mozzarella stick enthusiast. I love to garden and spend time creating pieces of art.
