I am a certified elementary teacher with years of experience in preschool and second grade. I have also taught ESL for 3 years on-line, and hold an MA in Teaching from Dominican University. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through IMSE (30-hour morphology plus course) and the Reed Charitable Foundation (30-hour classroom educator course).

Learners are assessed informally through the use of the three-part drill in each class. Learners' writing work is also assessed through our descriptive writing project.成績が提供されます
**Note: No additional supplies needed beyond those requested in semester 1. Those items are copied below for reference. All learners should use a 1-inch 3-ring binder with dividers (5 or more is fine). Print-outs will be provided each week and these should be added to the notebook for student reference (having a 3-hole punch can be very helpful). All learners should bring a whiteboard and marker, as well as a pencil, to each class. In addition, learners should have a set of notecards that are 4x6 inches and come in 5 colors: yellow, blue, lavender, pink, and green. Powerpoint presentations and games played on wordwall.net will be displayed via screenshare only. Youtube videos by Arika Okrent may be shared via screenshare as well. Learners will not need to access any websites independently.
