In this ongoing class, students will learn a variety of Montessori lessons that most children would learn in their first or second year of the 3-6 program. Each class will start with the calendar, and then lead into the daily lesson. 
1st Day (Mon): Phonetic Letter Sounds
2nd Day (Tues): Math
3rd Day (Wed): Culture

Week of August 21st:

- counting to 10
- living and non-living

Week of August 28th:
- letters e, h, l, m
- short bead stair/colored beads
- land, air, water

Week of September 4th:

Week of September 11th:
- letters c, f, i, j, n
- number rods
- life cycle of a butterfly

Week of September 18th:
- letters b, d, o, p, w
- cards and counters 
- parts of a leaf

Week of September 25th:
- letters g, k, u, v
- teen beads
- parts of a tree

Week of October 2nd:
- letters q, x, y, z
- teen boards
- parts of an apple

Week of October 9th:
- letters sound review
- ten boards
- life cycle of an apple

- handwriting printed letters

Week of December 11th:
- handwriting printed letters
- introduction to place value
- types of penguins

Week of December 18th
- handwriting printed words
- introduction to place value
- hibernation, migration, adaptation

All of World Montessori Academy’s Montessori classes are taught by MACTE, AMS or AMI certified, trained teachers with years of experience! This ensures that we are able to offer quality Montessori classes, while adapting them to fit an online learning environment. 

To ensure that your child gets the most out of each and overt class, please ensure that they are prepared when they come to class. This means bringing any pintables, materials or anything else that has been requested by the teacher. Everything for the coming week’s lessons will be posted on Sunday evenings. 

This is an ongoing course, so students may begin or leave the course at any time. The classes do not build onto the previous week.
