Ms. Rachel has been an educator for the last 15 years and started teaching on the Outschool platform in January of 2021. She spent five years teaching special education as a paraprofessional in the public school system. In that role, she worked with kindergarten through third-grade students, helping them find their best ways to learn in all subject areas. After leaving the public school system, she educated her children at home, with her last daughter graduating in 2022. She loves being an educator! She believes every child is unique and should be encouraged to learn in the best way for them. Every child deserves respect, understanding, and patience. She strives to make learning fun and engaging for her students as she helps to create a solid educational foundation.

Ms. Amy has been teaching Montessori-inspired math classes for 1.5 years.  She is a certified elementary teacher with two education degrees and was a National Board certified teacher.  She has taught in public school, a homeschool hybrid school, and is currently homeschooling her two children, while also teaching on Outschool.
