In this one time class learners will explore the history and variety of Tacos. Tacos are traditionally Mexican, however they have spread to many corners of the globe. In this one time class we will begin by looking at tacos in Mexico from the traditional to the modern, from the simplest to the fanciest and everything in between. We will then widen our search and go beyond Mexico and look at how tacos have influenced (and sometimes even inspired) other foods as well as looking at how tacos...
Learners will learn about tacos. Learners will learn about the influence of different cultures on tacos. Learners will learn about the influence of Tacos on different cultures.
Do you love Tacos? I do. It is as simple as that. I have loved tacos since I tried my first one. Whenever I go somewhere I look for the best taco place. I don't look necessarily for the one with the most stars. I look for the one with the most positive reviews. I look for what is in those reviews. Who wrote those reviews. What did they say? How did they say it? I like authentic Mexican street tacos. I like crunchy shell tacos and soft tortilla tacos. I like fajitas and other meat dishes where I get to make my own tacos. I like them with chopped cilantro and onion. I like them with cheese, rice and beans. I like fish tacos, chicken tacos, pork tacos, and more. The history and variety of tacos often boggles the mind. There are an infinite number of combinations that can be made. They are easily one of the most customizable foods. Join me on this taco journey as we explore Tacos in all their glory.
