ムーラン - ムーランはなぜ忠実で、勇敢で、誠実なのか？ ムーランの中国語名、書道クラフト、ストーリーブックの作り方

Objectives:  
1. Teacher will engage students to discuss how Mulan is loyal, true and brave from the movie.   Teacher elicits definitions from students.  Using a presentation with prompts,  students will take turns to give examples from the movie of how Mulan is loyal, true and brave.   
Students will make a Mulan Storybook on powerpoint by typing or they can print the slides and write.
 
2. Teacher engages students to learn about Mulan's Chinese culture:   the food of  the Northern Wei time period in ancient China and to learn the Chinese characters for loyal, true, brave and the meaning Hau Mulan's name.  

3.  Students will learn how to write Chinese characters properly with guided practice by the teacher.   The words will be: loyal, true, brave ( and if time allows-Hua Mulan)

Craft Activity:   
Students will choose a Chinese character and create a beautiful art piece of Chinese calligraphy.
