I served 5 years in the US Army as a Military Police Officer on active duty. During my term of service, I spent a year in Afghanistan. I also served as a recreational program manager during my last year in the Army.

You may want to provide your child the opportunity to think about questions prior to class. Some possible topic areas to consider are questions related to: Military service, life in a combat zone, family and work balance, Morale and welfare/recreation.

No formal assessment will be required. Parents are welcome to test the student's acquisition of knowledge by requesting recitation of the phonetic alphabet, checking for understanding of learned acronyms, and asking your child to sing a cadence.
