We will be reading a few stories in each class. We will be focusing on reading comprehension by listening to Teacher Theresa read children's story books .The teacher will be asking questions before, during and after the story. Craft suggestions will be provided by the teacher in a classroom message board post. You can use the after class activity as a means of extending the learning and connecting with your child.
Work on: comprehension, prediction, and further develop student's ability to elaborate and discuss texts.
I am a certified English teacher in PA. I am trained in and use total physical response to bring material to life for students. I have taught in brick and mortar settings as a teacher and in autistic support as a wrap around. I have been teaching online for the past three years. I am also a homeschooling mom of two.
