In this class, students will learn the math terms: 
-Greater Than
-Less Than
-Equal to

I will introduce the class by showing the math symbols and explaining what each symbol represents while showing examples.  Students will have visual representations.  Students will be encouraged to interact both one on one and as a group to practice these skills.  Students will learn different math terminology and be able to tell which numbers are bigger, smaller or the same to each other to numbers up to 20.

My name is Jackie Dianni and I live in sunny South Florida, and I am so happy to be apart of the Outschool platform!  
A little more about myself:

👉🏻Masters Degree in Teaching in TESOL 
👉🏻Duel Certified Teacher: (NY & FL) TESOL (k-12), Early Elementary Education (pre-k-3)
👉🏻Taught Pre-K for over 10 years
👉🏻Currently a 1st grade teacher in a Title 1 public elementary school
👉🏻Received recognition as the teacher of the month
👉🏻Won "Teacher Above and Beyond Award!"

It is my philosophy that teaching should always be done in an environment that is healthy, educational, and most importantly safe.  I believe that students thrive when they feel the most comfortable, and by transforming learning into fun activities, it allows students to gain a better understanding on a topic whether they realize it or not!  It gives me such pride at the end of each school year when they can showcase their learning talents to their parents!  I am excited to meet new students and provide the same type of love and enthusiasm to help reach their highest potentials!
