Students will learn these topics on vocabulary words, sentence structures and apply them in their conversation. They will also know how to pronounce the words and know the meaning of the words. Students will engage in conversations, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions in Chinese.

I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I am a certified teacher with experience working at a Chinese immersion school. Throughout my career, I have taught Chinese I, II, III, IV, AP and business Chinese. I have a master's degree in education.

Students will also receive worksheets, exercises Quizlet flashcards, and interactive practice games links throughout our lesson.  Interactive practice games include matching games, Whack a mole, guess the wordss and etc.

The assessment will be the worksheet, student recording, and project. Students are encouraged to complete a family tree project to share in class to apply what they have learned.
