In this one time class Learners will receive help from a certified and experienced teacher with any of their homework and or reading / writing skills.   Since many students have fallen behind with recent pandemic families are concerned about regression.  I will take your child from their current literacy level and build them up to or beyond their next grade level.
Please send me your students needs (sight word, reading fluency, comprehension) and grade level completed to better serve them. I also use an online reading program which helps students with their fluency and comprehension that can be used when booking multiple sessions. 
I can also progress monitor your child with sight word recognition, reading fluency and decoding skills.  In my area, students K-2 take a reading assessment  (Reading 3-D).  Students are assessed in DIBELS and reading.  I have materials to assess and progress monitor DIBELS (letter naming, nonsense words, phoneme segmentation, word reading fluency, MAZE, ORF).
Sometimes learners need a little extra help with their homework or school projects.  As parents it can be hard to find the time to make that happen, and often kids need someone different from a family member. I can also help in this area as well. 
In this class I am not supplying materials or activities as we are working on a student's assigned homework. I can recommend activities to do at home for more practice. I will also provide feedback to parents after our sessions.
