In this one on one class students will learn, review and practice reading skills. Skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, fluency, comprehension and much more. Skills will be taught in fun interactive ways as we do the I do, we do, you do teaching method. If it fits the concept being taught games may be a part of the class. Parents will be asked to send a list of specific topics that the student needs to work on before class begins to help me prepare and ensure that the student is getting the instruction they need. Topics covered: phonemic awareness (letter names/sounds), blending sounds to read words, sight word practice, reading fluency and comprehension will be covered depending on the students' needs.
