👉🏼This class is perfect for the learner who has had an introduction to 2-digit addition and is ready to begin adding numbers together when regrouping is involved. We’ll make addition engaging, upbeat and encouraging!

  🎒Representing tens and ones using models

  📓How to add numbers together using the standard form for regrouping


C L A S S R O O M   S T R U C T U R E :
  ✏️Community Building: Introductions & Question of the Day
  ✏️Class Introduction: Discuss our learning target of the day and class expectations
  ✏️Instruction: We’ll begin class reviewing place value of tens and ones. We will then move into talking about how to  solve 2-digit addition equations with regrouping. Class will include a gradual release of instruction. I do, We do together, You do independently
  ✏️Class Closing: Class reflection on our learning target and individual reflection on effort
