During this 3-day class, students will play improvisation games to sharpen their quick-thinking and acting skills. This class welcomes beginners and experienced actors alike. The first day we will start off learning the magic rule of Improv: "Yes, and...." and we will play simple games, including 'Sound Ball', 'Hey, What are you Doing?', and 'Three Things'. The second day we will progress to making quick and smart choices, with games such as 'Quizzal', 'Expert', and 'Celebrity'. Finally, on the third day, we will work on short improvised scenes with games such as 'Slideshow', 'Alphabet Scene', and 'Questions Only'. Many improv games have different names and are played in different ways, but these games offer all good challenges and the fun of improvisation.
