Looking for a creative outlet for your energy?  Do you like to have fun?  Are you looking to meet new people and make new friends?  Do you love comedy?  Do you like playing games?

If you answered YES to the above questions this class IS for you.  Each week we will play fun and challenging games that will have you fully engaged and laughing.

What to expect:
Each week we will introduce the three rules we will work with in improv to help ensure the positive flow of the class.  Rules we work with in improv are the following:
1.  “Yes, and....” - this means that whatever is offered to you by another actor, you will agree with it and add to the story.
2.  Be descriptive:  using descriptive words and doing your best to engage your imagination so that you are painting a verbal picture when performing.
3.  Save your fellow actor:  of another actor is struggling, hep them out:)

This class is great for all levels and skills squired in this class are transferable into all areas of your life.

Students will learn through playing improv games.  It is my belief that students should all study improvisation, as this prepares them for interviewing and future jobs, being able to actively listen, improves public speaking skills and so much more.

Please bring to class a notebook, pencil and eraser and a water to keep you hydrated. It is highly recommended that you have a printer for this program to print out the short scenes and or monologues. However it is not necessary, as it is good practice to have the students write out their line so it helps them memorize.

All of our teachers have been in the acting industry for over 30 years of combined experience, acting in theatre, being a talent agent and teaching!

Together as a team, we have taught over 4000 actors and have helped them to successfully prepare for their careers in acting.  On average, 80% of our students have gone on to book work in film, tv and commercials.
Our classes are interactive amd fun, as we feel hands on learning in acting IS the only way.  Students will learn through our various programs how to analyze and score scripts, build characters, relationship development, improv, auditioning techniques and method acting techniques.
We will work on both scenes and monologues.(depending on the course)
