You're just on the cusp of trying to figure that out for yourself, so how will you convince a college admissions board that you are exactly what their college needs? An admissions essay needs to shine with your personality, but it also needs to delve deeper than that. Colleges want to know what you are about, what has made you who you are, what you want from your future, and how their establishment will help get you there. Past, present, and future, all tied up neatly within one essay. No easy task!
