This is a 16-week live course. We will be studying Pre-calculus, an important prerequisite for Calculus or for studying a STEM based career. We will meet twice a week to cover topics in the syllabus. Each class will have various approaches to learning. There will be a PowerPoint presentation, guided practice and interactive assessments to test understanding. Students will have the opportunity discuss and writing on the online whiteboard, as well. My style is to investigate each student's...

- Students will learn Pre-Calculus principles and concepts to prepare them for Calculus or for STEM based careers.
I have experience successfully teaching Pre-Calculus in-person and online. I majored in Civil Engineering and taught high school physics for a number of years.
授業以外に週あたり 2 - 4 時間の学習が期待されます
Homework
頻度: 1-2 per weekフィードバック: 必要に応じて詳細: There will be homework assignments assigned weekly. These assignments are optional but strongly recommended. They will help the learner to solidify what they learned. I will give feedback for each assignment. Assignment may take an hour or longer to complete.Assessment
頻度: 7 or more throughout the class詳細: Parents can request grades within the first week of class for written report for this course. Other than that, assignments will be graded if turned in and there will be informal assessments in each class.Letter Grade
頻度: 含まれる詳細:
Paper, pencil, and a ruler (or protractor) are essential. Students need to have a graphic calculator, as well. I will use a TI-84 Plus during this course. Students are advised to obtain a similar calculator.
このクラスでは、Outschool内のクラスルームに加えて、以下を使用します。
I will provide an e-book on Precalculus that students may choose to follow along with.
