Learners will work with various presentations of fractions, equivalent fractions, and mixed numbers.  We will use the four operations to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions with an "I do, we do, you do" presentation for practice.  We will spiral review as the weeks go on to master each concept.  Your learner will gain confidence in working with fractions that they can readily use as a supplement to their regular math class.  The concepts presented in this class are vital to middle school mathematics and preparation for Pre-Algebra.  We will use Canva for presentations.  

Week 1: Add and subtract fractions; Convert mixed numbers to fractions
Week 2: Add and subtract with fractions review; Add and subtract mixed numbers; equivalent fractions; Least Common Multiple; Prime Numbers; Exponents
Week 3: Multiply fractions; Add and subtract mixed number review
Week 4: Divide fractions with the "keep, change, flip" method; Comprehensive review
