In this one time, live class, students will learn about different common fish. Students will also be introduced to some of the most interesting fish from around the world! Students will also learn the habitats that fish live in. Students will be introduced to different types of fish, like sharks, sea horses and sting rays. This class will be teacher led with the use of pictures and slides and games. Students will have the opportunity to build their speaking skills by telling the class what their favorite fish is.

I am Mrs V, as my classroom students call me. I teach phonics, grammar, science, math, and music classes. I am licensed to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have a minor in music. I taught preschool for 6 years and I did student teaching in kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades. I have worked part time in the public school system for the last 5 years. I homeschool my two youngest children and enjoy finding fun new ways to teach things. I also teach ESL classes online. I believe that including the student's interests into the lesson engages the learning and makes learning fun and more easily attainable. Fun, hands on activities and games provide an engaging learning environment. My hobbies are animals (I live on a small farm), music (I minored in music), reading and crocheting.
