Hello Parents,
In this 4-week class, I will be sharing my interest in dangerous places without focusing on crime or violence.
The students will experience what dangerous places are like through reports and projects.
Every student will interact during the class with me. While we are learning about these places the students are talking about what it would be like to visit these places. This way the student can show others what they have learned. It will be a lot of fun.
(Interaction as the instructor)
The students and I will be playing the guessing game every week. Our questions and answers will be posted in the classroom. All of the students and I will do projects together. Interaction includes suggestions, questions, and answers to one another every week.
A flex course allows learners to cover material during a time that is convenient for them each week. Students are encouraged to check in with the teacher weekly via the Outschool classroom, which will allow for more engagement between the teacher and learner. After weekly lessons, students can collaborate with their peers by replying to the announcements and lesson postings in the Outschool classroom.
Participation will include an introduction post, discussion posts, assignments, and projects in the Classroom. This allows students to process what they are learning by collaborating with peers and the teacher. Participation in assignments allows students to practice and reinforce learning. This also provides opportunities for the teacher to gauge student learning and provide interventions if necessary. Private messages or classroom comments are usually responded to within 24 hours with the exception of weekends.
During the week I will check in with each student and the project they are working on.
I will be sending the class a video every Sunday. All of the students will have access to me for questions, discussions, or advice.
The students will be able to go at their own pace. Assignments will still be due every week.
This class will be very interactive throughout the classroom.
The students will develop skills in dangerous places knowledge by interacting with one another in the classroom. They will be assigned to do questionnaires and reports together.
The students will create their mini dangerous place by doing a creative project and report. They may use photos that show the instructor and classmates how they came up with their amazing designs!
This class does not meet via online chat, but interaction is very important to me!
Weekly schedule:
: Notification of explaining the lesson for the week
: Sharing Work- Students will share their assignments with a photo or writing. All will be shared with the class and teacher via the classroom.

Hello, my name is Teacher Toni. My classes are very visual. In class, my students enjoy activities and games. Learning independently with guidance and group settings. Which is very effective. Class participation is important but not forced. I am actively a Certified ESL teacher. I have taught hundreds of students. Teaching children is a passion of mine. I've always enjoyed educating children in different settings prior to becoming a certified ESL teacher. Now that I have taken the opportunity to intensely teach children every day, I love it. The light in the student's eyes when they are happy with their accomplishments brings me so much joy. My philosophy of teaching includes allowing the student to be creative. I believe in showing and explaining to the students new content. Afterward, they are able to work independently. Being patient with my students helps them to find the answers to the problem at hand. My philosophy also includes learning by experience. Hands-on classes are very powerful. It allows the student to be more open-minded to the task. My fun comes naturally. It's not always something I plan. I may put on a blue wig for a reaction or sing a random song. You may even see me do a little dance when my student gets the correct answer. When the student does something creative that makes me so excited. My goal is for every student to feel inspired and really good about their achievements. They need to feel comfortable in the classroom and stress-free. I'm also a Master Cosmetologist. I had my own salon for 25 years in the heart of Atlanta, Ga. I've been an Educator for this industry as well. Teaching other hairstylists has been rewarding. As a platform artist, I have traveled around the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. I love meeting new people, traveling, and learning Spanish. Once you look at my classes you will see I am an Art and cooking teacher as well. I also have classes where I take the students on an adventure. Having fun while learning is important to me. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your child very soon. If the times you need are not posted please send me a time that works best for you.
Thank you for your time.
