It's crucial to respect the boundaries of each learner. If a learner indicates discomfort or requests to refrain from discussing a particular topic, I will honor those boundaries. In the event that emotions escalate or a learner becomes visibly distressed, I will utilize my training administer de-escalation techniques. This may involve taking a break, redirecting the discussion, or offering support . At end of each class, I will employ check-ins to gauge the emotional well-being of the learner.
