Learn the basics of how to be a Dungeon Master and run your own game of Dungeons and Dragons! Learn how to craft your own story, create interesting characters and NPCs, build your very own combat and skill encounters, and of course, make some awesome maps too! 

I've been a Dungeon Master, formally, for the past five years and a player of D&D for much longer. In addition to that I've been running D&D session on Outschool from over a year and have 4 current  groups playing! (ask me if you're interested in joining as a player!). I've designed hundreds of characters and NPCs, several dozen maps, and outlined multiyear campaigns for the games I've run.

Nothing very formal here, but definitely encourage students to continue building their adventures between class sessions! They may not be able to finish everything during our in class time so I encourage them to finish of those weekly projects at least!

Neither of these is required! A learner may use a journal, map paper, art book, or some other digital tools that they prefer as well.
